Carrie Mattingly

SGA President

Carrie is a senior Economics and Political Science major with a minor in Sociology from Lexington, KY. She has been involved in the Student Government Association since her freshman year, when she served as the president of the Freshmen Arts & Sciences Council and as a Task Force Freshman to the Academic Vice President. As a sophomore, Carrie served as an A&S Senator, earning the award for Senator of the Year after authoring and passing numerous pieces of legislation regarding college affordability and student engagement. Most recently, Carrie worked as Academic Vice President representing student academic interests to university faculty and administration. Carrie is extremely excited to use her experience to lead SGA into the 2013-2014 academic year.

Carrie is also involved in the university Honors Program and Greek Life. She spends her spare time spending time with UofL friends and co-workers and supporting Cardinal Athletics!
