Ugonna Okorie


Student Body President

Ugonna is a senior studying Public Health and Healthcare Management. Before taking her role as President, Ugonna has served as a Student Orientation Staffer, Student Success Ambasador, and a Resident Assistant. Additionally, Ugonna has been a part of the Student Activities Board, Society of Porter Scholars, and the President's Council Mentoring Program. She is passionate about the intersectionalities between public health and social justice with hopes to eliminate inequities within the healthcare system. Please feel free to stop by and say hello!

Sydney Finley


Executive Vice President

Sydney is a junior at the University of Louisville studying Political Science, English, and Peace, Justice, and Conflict Transformation. She is a McConnell, Woodford R. Porter, and Honors Scholar, and is involved has been involved in several RSOs such as the Student Government Association, Engage Lead Serve Board, and Black and Brown Honors Society. In the future, Sydney hopes to attend law school to become a civil rights, education, or immigration attorney and policy analyst. If you see her on campus, don't be afraid to say hello!

Alexa Meza


Academic Vice President

Alexa got her start in SGA as a freshmen & since then has served as both a Senator & the President of the College of Arts & Sciences. Her main goal this year is ensuring that all students make a successful transition back to life in the classroom & being there for them every step of the way. Additionally, she plans to work with the University Delphi Center for Teaching & Learning, students, & faculty to innovate courses, methods of content delivery, grading, & evaluation. Finally, she is committed to furthering UofL’s anti-racism agenda by uplifting the voices of all students in spaces where she has the privilege of serving.

Eli Cooper


Services Vice President

Eli is a senior Social Change (Individualized Major) and Political Science major. Before taking on Services Vice President he spent two years as a Co-Director for the Community Peace (now Community Emersion) Committee on the Engage Lead Serve Board, one year a a Student Senator for the College of Arts and Sciences, and one year as the Director of Internal Coordination for SGA. He has a strong passion for international human rights and loves hearing amazing ideas for the University from other passionate students. Anytime I’m in the office feel free to stop in!
